A long line in front of the trattoria at 13 o'clock.
It's very popular with local people for reasonable prices.
"Baked Pasta" and "Pasta with smoked buffalo cheese and potato" Both flavors are delicious and homely.
Soft and fine, "octopus stewed in tomatoes." Please try it at least once.
In winter the tent covers outside seats. Let's find the shop sign.
Taste | It's a typical classic local Neapolitan Trattoria!! Here you can taste home cooking of Naples. It's located in the Spanish district. At lunchtime (13:00) there is always a long line shown in a photo so it's recommended to enter before 13 o'clock!! Taste is delicious, but sometime pasta comes too much cooked? Or, some dishes have a strong flavor. . . |

Neapolitan cuisine is Mother's home cooking taste. Each family has own good taste. Even a simple tomato pasta dish, there are very different tastes depending on who cooks. Therefore, let's taste one of those Neapolitan home cooking if you come to Naples!! Let's go!!
The position is Spanish district, considered a dangerous area... but take your courage in both hands! Go without accessories and expensive goods. Attention to your digital camera, too. It's important to become very alert.
Lunch hours are less dangerous. Don't comport like a classic tourist looking around with a guidebook. Those tourists are targeted mainly.
It's a traditional family-running trattoria opened in 1949. After lunch at 13 o'clock, there is always a long queue. All of staffs are wearing a pretty red T-shirts so you can distinguish them from customers soon. Tell the number of your group to the owner Mr. Ciro standing at the entrance and wait. If there are lots of customers waiting, the owner starts calling: "you next, you guys next" appropriately... there is no order of arrival. So keep a good place in front of Mr. Ciro!
Basically all of dishes are on the daily menu. That is handwritten A4 paper. Sometime it's difficult to decode their beautiful calligraphies (laugh). Here are the menu and photos when I visited.
Pasta, main dish, vegetable side dish (Contorni) with water and bread costs only 10 euros!!! If you ask local wine, it costs around 15 euros in total. VERY ECONOMY!!!
Especially a dish of "Octopus stewed in tomatoes (Polipo in cassuola)" was superbly braised and quite soft. It's recommended! ! !
Please give some chips. Staffs in Red T-shirts sing for joy!!

If you go before 12:30, you would be able to take a seat in a short line. Don't be late, after 13:00 locals come one after another. Also after 14.00, it's possible to find a place but some dishes would be sold out. Of course it's opened in the evening but considering the atmosphere of Spanish district, it would be better to go for lunch. You can ask also take away.
