Naples is a hyper cheerful town. However, do you know that there is an underground city underneath that chaos??
It's the old underground city "Napoli Sotterranea". The ancient Greeks built temples thousands of years ago. Then here was used as the underground canals till 19th century, and became bomb shelters during the World Wars. Many traces of each period are left everywhere. Today, visiting here, you can have a great experience of a wonderful time travel over 2,000 years.
Let's go to see the underground city of Naples. It's very cool and like a labyrinth, you can enjoy an adventurous visit!!
There is a recreated place where the ancient Greeks had extracted stones, or a basement storage, laundry, facilities, burial chambers and a theater during the antiquity. The underground area has footprints of human history. You can see also some children's toys left during the war... Here it will be possible to do an experience of time travel.
Once you step down, it takes more than one hour to come back on the ground!! Let's try to taste the air of the ancient city and an adventurous atmosphere!
