Taste 5 stars 50 years ago, Vini di'Italia was only restaurant standing alone on a country road. Now here was dramatically changed into a residential area, but the restaurant remains as an old Osteria or Taverna, where you can enjoy the atmosphere and food of a pub. It has also Enoteca (wine shop) at the entrance of the restaurant and there are lots of wine bottles on the wall. Empty a bottle of good wine dining on a wooden long table and patting shoulder of friends... This restaurant is recommend to young people who would like to spend an evening of popular folklife.

Italian Osteria (Taverna)!!

Bologna has the oldest university in Europe. Around the city there are many pubs called Osteria or Taverna, where many students fill the halls at night. It's not for who would like to go to elegant restaurants, but it's advisable for young people to eat delicious food at economy prices. In Vini di'Italia, regulars occupy the tables near the entrance. They enjoy playing cards, drinking wine at night. Please don't hesitate, let's go inside and get counter seats!

The menu is changed day by day. Something tasty every day!!

Since the chef chooses the best food every morning, the menu is changed daily. On the board in front of the door, "the contents of the pot of the day" is written. Normally you can choose from two kinds of Primo pasta (first plate) and two kinds of secondo (second plate) like meat. Since one portion is really big, it would be suffice to order and share only one pasta dish and one second plate for two people. Their dishes are very delicious and staffs are very friendly. Please try to come here!

Do not forget wine

The meaning of the restaurant's name is "Wine of Italy." Actually it's also a wine shop called Enoteca, and you can also purchase selected wines from all over Italy as souvenirs after eating. The owner chef has plenty of wine knowledge and he is very friendly person. Let's ask him some advices about good Italian wine. Feel free to say him also your budget.
