Arezzo antique market
In Arezzo, the Italy's largest antique market is held on the first Sunday
and the previous day (Saturday) of each month. If you can adjust your schedule,
You could visit the antique city of Arezzo. It would be very fun to do just only
window shopping without a purchase. It is held only two days a month.
During those day, the town is filled with many people naturally. It's lively
and fun, but too crowded to find hotel or restaurant. If you would like to enjoy
the shopping, it's better to reserve a hotel before. Since it takes about one
hour by train from Florence, it's also possible to stay in Florence (Hotels
in Florence) and to do day trip from there.

We went to the antique market of Arezzo to look for folk, decorative cutleries and tableware. We arrived at 10 am but it was already busy and exciting! After looking well all stands, we bought a set of silver forks and spoons, and antique glasses. We'd looked also other antiques markets in Paris, but we think here is cheaper. I want to come back again next year. (June 2009)
